Reach a human

Email geo@kapturs.com and a person will answer. We reply to every message, usually within one working day, and always within 30 days for formal data requests.

You can also write to us from inside the app: Settings → Contact support. That sends your message with your account attached, which makes it much faster to sort out.

Safety

Geo has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. If someone is harassing you, or you see something that breaks the rules, act inside the app — it is faster than email:

• Report a room, a person, or a comment from the room or from their profile. Reports are reviewed and acted on, typically within 24 hours.
• Block anyone from their profile or from a room. They immediately stop appearing to you, and you to them.
• If you are a host, you can mute or remove anyone in your own room straight away.

If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the UAE that is 999.

Purchases and refunds

I bought coins and something went wrong

Coins are delivered by Apple. If a purchase went through but the coins did not arrive, force-quit and reopen Geo first — the receipt is re-checked on launch and the balance usually corrects itself. If it still hasn't appeared after that, email us with the date and amount and we will find it.

I want a refund

Refunds for anything bought in the App Store are handled by Apple, not by Geo — we are not able to issue them. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account you purchased on.

Cancelling the monthly host support

The Support a Host subscription is an Apple subscription. Cancel it in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. It stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling in Geo alone will not stop the billing — it has to be done in iOS Settings.

What coins are

Coins are a virtual item used inside Geo Rooms for gifts, boosts and Drops. They are not money, they have no cash value, users cannot send them to each other, and they are non-refundable except where the law or the App Store requires otherwise. The only way coins reach a wallet other than by purchase is a Drop prize that Geo Rooms credits to the winner.

Your account

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account, inside the app. This removes your profile, rooms, comments, clips, follows, blocks, and push tokens immediately, and it cannot be undone. You do not need to ask us, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

Purchase and payout records are kept afterwards, because UAE financial record-keeping rules require it. Deleting your Geo account does not cancel an Apple subscription — do that separately in iOS Settings, as above.

I can't sign in

Geo Rooms supports Sign in with Apple, Google and email. Use the same method you originally signed up with — signing in a different way creates a different account. If you are stuck, email us from the address on the account.

Location

Geo asks for location to show rooms near you and to enforce rooms limited to a place. If you decline, the app still works — you simply won't see the nearby feed and can't join rooms restricted to a radius. Your exact coordinates are never shown to another user. You can turn location off at any time in iOS Settings.

Where Geo works

Geo Rooms is currently available in the United Arab Emirates, in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah. If you would like Geo in your city, tell us from Settings → Suggest a city — we read every one.

Age

Geo is for people aged 18 and over. If you believe someone underage is using Geo, email us and we will act.

Creator earnings

Gifts you receive while on stage are credited as earnings: a share of Geo Rooms’ revenue, not coins and not money held for you. Payouts are not available. Earnings cannot be withdrawn today, and we do not promise when, or whether, payouts will open. If they do, we will tell you the conditions first; payouts would go only to a UAE bank account in your own name, after identity checks.
